About Bide Well
To Bide: to spend time, to wait, to tolerate, to calmly be present
To Abide: to accept, to bear patiently, to live or stay somewhere
As you face many demands today—at work, in the community, at home; with constant or bombarding messages online and in your relationships, all vying for your attention; and as you may be feeling overwhelmed by stress, grief, or trauma—I invite you to consider what it might be like to bide, or abide, with your self, your experiences, and your relationships. Through conversations together, either in person or online, we can carve out space to consider what your recent or lifelong experiences have meant to you and how they influence, affect, disrupt, or possibly enhance who you are and who you are becoming. Through conversations together, learning about personal and relational healing, and in practicing care for yourself and others, you can find key next steps for making your way through your challenges, finding hope, and growing further.
I come to this work, and welcome you to it, from a place of learning. I have long been passionate about people in my life getting the resources they need to heal and grow. It’s one of my greatest joys.
Together we will look for what is most helpful to you—whether that is information about your own life experiences, developing new practices or skills to develop, or strengthening healthy approaches to your relationships with others and with yourself.
